She was predeceased by: her husband James Adams; her son Jimmy Adams Jr.; her parents, Sammie Howard and Hazel Howard (Murkerson); and her siblings, Louise Williamson, Rayburn Taylor and Clayton Howard.
She is survived by: her son John Adams of Lakeland; her stepdaughter Brenda Botts Weber (Bud) of Winter Haven; her siblings, Edward "Bubba" Howard, Brenda Losh of Auburndale and Maudie Jiskoot (Bjorn) of Bartow; and her sister-in-law Cathy Howard of Ocala. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
