He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolton Bednarik and Margaret Bednarik (Curry). He is survived by: his wife Marsha Thompson; his children, Tommy Bednarik of Lewisville and Katie Purdy (Danny) of Winter Haven, Florida; his grandchildren, Evie and Adalynn Purdy; and his siblings, Ed Bednarik (Socky) of Arkansas, John Bednarik (Sandy) of Morris and Beth Myers (Mike) of Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be sent to Down Syndrome Foundation of central Florida in honor of Evie, his granddaughter, or to the donor's choice.
