She is survived by: her children, John L. Dawson (Theresa), Lavan Dawson (Vernice), Patricia Dawson, Darlene Faye Anderson, Michael T. Dawson, Mary Thompson (Jay) and F. Chester Dawson; and her brother James Bonner (North Carolina). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
