She was predeceased by: her mother Enid Gowie; and her brother Lancelot "Junior" Gowie. She is survived by: her father Leaford Gowie; her husband Johnny; her daughters, Kutura and Alexis; and her siblings, Val, Pat, Meg and Mervin. She is also survived by 11 nieces, 7 nephews, and 9 great-nieces and nephews.
