She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Leroy Clemens and Tess Clemens; and her sister Pat Cherkas. She is survived by: her husband George E. Karres; and her children, George (Carol), Patty (Craig), Tom (Denise), Fred (Lisa), Mary (George) and Beth (Jamie). She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, honoring her lifelong faith and commitment to her spiritual community.
