She is survived by: her husband Hardy Doelfel; her daughter Fiona Dinley (Mike Dinley); her granddaughter Zoe Loewen; and her siblings, Hansjoerg Friedrich, Veronika Sigwarth and Gabriele Friedrich. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City of Hope Atlanta in Memory of Karola Doelfel.
