Maxie Peden Depp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxie Peden Depp in Winter Park, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lilly Whitney Peden; her husband Wally Depp; her stepmothers, Hazel Peden (Coleman) and Lou Ella Peden (Owen); her brother William C. Peden; her niece Jeannie Hixson (Harrod); and her nephew Jon Sterling.
She is survived by: her sons, W. Dane Depp of Glasgow, KY and Peden "Pede" Depp of Orlando, FL; her sister Doris Jean Harrod of Frankfort, KY; her nieces, Katherine (Harrod), Cain of Maitland, FL, Alice Sterling Deen of Oviedo, FL and Kimberly K. Depp of Rocky Mount, NC; her nephew Joe Sterling of Orlando, FL; and her cousins, Rebecca Lano (Miller) of Mesa, AZ and Donna MacFarland of Castalian Springs, TN.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Apopka (441 S Highland Ave, Apopka, FL 32703).
Memorial donations can be made in Maxie's name to the First Baptist Church of Apopka, FL.
