She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathaniel Moore Sr. and Clarissa Moore; her husband Charles Mays, Sr.; her daughter Tuania Mays; and her siblings, Ossie Moore, Howard Moore, John Moore, Jr. and Leola Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Lorenzo Mays (Tiffany), Tawanda Martinez (Louis) and Ahmad Mays; and her siblings-in-law, Williams Mays Jr., Anthony Mays Sr., Beatrice Mays and Frankie Mays Warren. She is also survived by her four children, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
