He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Godwin and Robert J. Godwin Sr.; and his brother Gary Lupkey. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Godwin; his daughter Megan Simpson (Travis); his brother Steve Lupkey (Hilda); his sibling's children, Brianne, Donna, Aaron, Cindy, April and Donald; his sister-in-law Debbie Lupkey; and his nieces, Karen and Louise.
