He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Long (Dick) and Evelyn Long; his wife Linda Long; his children, Richard Long (Julia) of Jersey City, NJ and Laura Long of Orlando; his grandchildren, Stella and Asher Long; his brother Lawrence Long (Marcia); his nieces and nephews, Bonny Fowler (Jim), Daniel and Mathew Long; and his stepchildren, Luanne Neff (William), Holly Murphy (Jonathan) and Eric Nompleggi (Erica).
