She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Mae Frances Daugherty and Mae Francis Daugherty Jones; her grandparents, Elder William H. and Mother Letha B. Daugherty; her aunts, Mary Elizabeth, Henrietta, Letha Pearl and Betty Jean; her husband Deacon Robert G. Stephens; her aunt Naomi Daugherty; her sister-in-law Arlene Warren; and her friends, Magdalene Walton, Kathy Blake Clemmons, Mary Thompson (Billy), Vivian Floyd and Carolyn Matthews. She was also cherished by cousins, god children.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flowers Temple Church of God in Christ (733 W Lyman Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
