He is survived by: his son David Woods Mitchell Jr.; his daughter-in-law Mickey Mitchell; his granddaughters, Alexis Grace Mitchell and Riley Ann Mitchell; his brother William Martin Mitchell Jr.; his stepchildren, Brian Boyle and Amy Carroll (Stephen); and his stepgranddaughter Evelyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother & sisters-in-law.
