He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Talbot Mitchell and Elizabeth Jane Mitchell (Sayes); and his sister Shirley Gregory. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Lucarella; his children, Earl, Heidi Valjean (Human), Todd Mitchell (Monica) and Michele Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Emily Mitchell, Griffin Janes (Kristina) and Luther Valjean.
