He was predeceased by: his parents, Brenda Sexton and John Sexton; and his brothers, John Jr. and Charlie Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Vonda Sexton; his daughter Jessica Creegan; his son-in-law Craig; his son Caleb Sexton; his grandchildren, Kaylee Creegan and Cooper Creegan; his sister Kathy Jarzynka (Alan); his niece Heather Jarzynka; his nephew Jacob Jarzynka; and his family, Ken and Vonda. He is also survived by husband; he was her best friend, her partner, and the love of her life.

The military honors will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Tuscawilla Country Club (1500 Winter Springs Blvd, Winter Springs, FL 32708).

In keeping with that part of his legacy, in lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Ken's memory to consider a donation to H.E.R.O.E.S. Care or to a charity of their choice that supports youth sports and opportunities for underprivileged children.
