Gary Lear Obituary

Gary A. Lear, 57, of Youngstown, FL went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born November 10, 1963 in Milan, Illinois. Gary loved wood working, going fishing, and being on the water rather the ocean or the creek. He loved his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Guy Alfred Lear.

Those left to cherish Gary's memory include his wife of 29 years, Betty Lear; daughter, April Stoltz (husband, Robert); son, Drapper Lear (wife, Danielle); eight grandchildren, Gage Lear, Jordan Lear, Juliet Lear, Cash Lear, Austin Stoltz, Baylee Stoltz, Cody Stoltz, and Dawson Stoltz; his mother, Wanda Lear; siblings, Guy "Mike" Lear (wife, Tammy), Deanna Murphy, Susie "Lear" Boyette, Gwyn Winchell (husband Fred), and Carla Nelson (husband, Larry); several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Curles officiating.
