He is survived by: his wife Caramon Sims Brightwell; his mother-in-law Patricia Sims of Dothan, AL; and his sisters-in-law, Rexanne High (Mike) of Columbus, Renae Sims (DJ) of Carrolton and Heather Hobbs (Johnnie) of Dothan, AL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
