With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Williams of Youngstown, Florida, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester James and Elsie Eunice Lee; her husband Marcus A Williams II; and her siblings, Jimmy Lee, Sammy Lee and Molly Desgalier.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy "Gator" Wike, Naomi Shanahan (Mike), Jeff Hamilton and Clara Caroots (Greg); her grandchildren, Shelby, John (Kristina), Ryan, Nycki (Aiden), Clara-Ann and Gregory; her great grandchildren, Brody, Allison and Teague; and her siblings, Tommy, Julie, Elsie and Bonny. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4803 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
