He was predeceased by: his partner Renva Breedon (Ren); his parents, Marcella Erickson and Allen Erickson; and his sisters, Janet Helms and Patricia Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Anderson, Selina Galanis (Peter Galanis), Leif Erickson (Shannon Erickson) and Melissa Erickson; his grandchildren, Madyson Dean, Christian Cutright, Nico Galanis, Leif Erickson Jr. and Lexis Erickson; and his siblings, David Erickson (April Erickson) and Judith Erickson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Emerald Coast Hospice in Panama City, a cause close to the family's heart.
