He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jeanne Reinert and Howard Wakefield Pettengill, II. He is survived by: his children, Holly Ann Yang, Charlotte, David Pettengill, Jr., Salem, Andrew Pettengill and Lithia; Howard Wakefield Pettengill and Malvina Fiset Pettengill.
