With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline M. Wesley of Yulee, Florida, born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, who passed away on February 26, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mullin and Flossie Mullin; her husband Dr. J. William Wesley; her daughter Cindy Hambrick; and her brother Jimmy Mullin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Humphreys (Shawn) of Charleston, SC and Kim Kirkland of Yulee; her stepson William Wesley (Kristen) of Jacksonville Beach; her sister Peggy Lawhorne (Royce) of Fernandina Beach; and her grandchildren, Lauren Humphreys, Brandon Humphreys, Jason Feltz, Emily Hambrick, Ethan Hambrick, Kyle Kirkland (Amanda), Cole Kirkland, Kalli Kirkland, Reid Wesley, Robbie Emerson and Alex Emerson. She is also survived by twin great-granddaughters that will be born in April, as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Wesley died from respiratory complications resulting from COVID-19.

The family asks donations be made, in her memory, to one's favorite animal charity.

“I was truly saddened to learn of Jackie's passing. It was my privilege to to have worked with her for many years at Emma Love Hardee school. She was one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and her warm smile always lit up the room. I am sure she will be sorely missed by her family and the community, as well. Please accept my deepest condolences. I pray that God's comforting arms will enfold you and bring you solace during this time of parting.”
