He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence E. Slade and Marjorie (Molly); and his brother Graham L. Slade. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Steffek Clizbe; his children, Joseph Clizbe (Sarbani) of Woodbridge, VA, Mary Barry (Tom) of Frederick, MD and Lisa Wisner of Lakeland, FL; his granddaughters, Alexandra, Lauren Clizbe (Jake Anderson) and Monika Wisner; his nephew Michael Slade (Delora); his nieces, Angie Slade and Amy Slade; and his cousin Ruth Slade.
