He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn "Carol" Weiss; his children, James John Weiss, Jr. and Deb Ackiss; his sisters, Toni Donohue and Lorrie Weiss; his grandchildren, Carol Taylor (Troy), Dave Ackiss, Jr., Aaron Weiss (Tata), Ryan Weiss (Katie), Nick Weiss (Crystal), Brittany Weiss and Brianna Cross; and his great grandchildren, Jo, Kellam, Layna, Lilly, Caiden, Beckham and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dade City, Florida.
