He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, L. O. Calhoun and Berma Mae Calhoun (Dunlap); and his children, David, Karen, Robin, Patrick and Scott Calhoun (Sherry). He was also cherished by his 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
