Veronica A. Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica A. Schmidt of Zephyrhills, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Veronica A. Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Bamberger and Marion Bamberger; her grandson Danny Schmidt; and her sisters, Rosemary Schmidt and Elizabeth "Fay" Volz.
She is survived by: her husband Walt; her children, Jack Schmidt (Jeanne) of Camillus and Linda Crossett (Jerry) of Liverpool; her grandchildren, Nicole Bucktooth (Drew), Christopher Schmidt (Kendall), Shane Crossett (Katie), Emmey Lorey (Tyler) and Meghan Crossett; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Gavin, Dylan, Cruze, Gianna and Sophia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, godchildren, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 6th 2026 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2932 Warners Rd, Warners, NY 13164).
