She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Whitaker and Mattie Whitaker; and her brother Harold Mathis. She is survived by: her husband Larry Matthews; her daughters, Jackie Miles (Charlie) of Woodstock and Ronda Crowe of Dallas Georgia; her grandchildren, Billy Miles, Jeff Miles (Jessica), Zac Crowe and Kina Crowe; and her great grandchild Caleb Miles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Baptist Church (5717 Priest Rd, Acworth, GA 30102).
