We announce the death of Alvin Dudley Wall Jr. of Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 87. Alvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Harbert Wall; his parents, Alvin Dudley Wall Sr. and Rubye Moore Wall; and his brother Darrell Wall. He is survived by: his children, Al Wall III (Eve) of Marietta and Alison Standish (Mark) of Marietta; his sister Karen Ponder of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Kennedy, Ben, Kathryn, Matthew and Anna. He is also survived by "Papa" to his 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Resurrection Methodist Church (1200 Indian Hills Pkwy NE, Marietta, GA 30068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
