He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sr. Tapp and Lela Tapp; his sister Evelyn Bruce; his wife Maggie Estelle; his son Curtis Tapp; and his grandson Dylan Tapp.
He is survived by: his children, David Tapp (Pat), Brian Tapp, Tim Tapp and Phyllis Westland (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jennifer Tapp, Stephanie Wolfe, Matthew Chula, Kevin Tapp, Victoria Schneider (Ian) and Brianna Westland; his great grandchildren, Cove, Jettson Schneider and Avery Wolfe; his brother Ray Tapp; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Cottrell and Marilyn Pham.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Memorial Park (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152).
