With sadness, we share the passing of Janene Louise Huffman of Acworth, Georgia. Janene, born on December 4, 1948 in Sutherland, Nebraska, passed away on August 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Huffman; her parents, Carroll McNeel and Alberta Boron; her stepfather Donald Boron; her sister Marlea Post; and her brothers-in-law, Keith and Kevin Huffman.
She is survived by: her son Peter Huffman (Rebekah) of Dallas, Georgia; her granddaughter Emily Huffman of Dallas, Georgia; her brother Rick McNeel (Carol) of Chapel Hill; her stepmother Barbara McNeel; and her siblings-in-law, Vance Post, Merle Reeves of North Platte, Nebraska and Carol Huffman of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (Veterans Cemetery Rd, Georgia 30114).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tranquility House in Cartersville, Georgia.
