It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry A. Freeland (Acworth, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on July 3, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Sheila McAlexander; and his granddaughter Kristi McAlexander. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Freeland of Acworth; his children, Joel Anthony Freeland (Arlene) of Marietta, Alan Freeland (Susan) of Marietta and Sheree Davis (Rodney) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Andrea, Zachary, Elizabeth, Jesse, Brad, Kaleigh, Samuel, Natalie, Emily and Elijah; and his siblings, Billy Freeland (Sandy) of Austell, Jeffrey Freeland (Elizabeth) of Dawsonville and Juanita Gilstrap of Dawsonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
