He is survived by: his son John III (Anna) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Maggie, Owen, Jack, Myles, Carolyn Montgomery, Richard, Melody, Jacob and Sarah Moore; and his cousins, Elaine, Rick, Lisa, Trish, Kitty and Robert.
