He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcia Nevitt, and John Nevitt, Sr.; his brother Stephen; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ann and James Callaway.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Callaway Nevitt; his children, Julie Huckeba (Dale) of Kennesaw, James Nevitt (Abbi) of Gainesville and Jessie Graiser (Doug) of Kennesaw; his grandchildren, Callie, Emilie, Haley, Dylan, Gunner, Jake, Bree, Casey, Nathaniel and Kierra; and his siblings, Lynne Enzweiler of Marietta and Chuck Nevitt (Sondra) of Raleigh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Abide youth program at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church.
