He was predeceased by: his parents, John Summerfield Johnson and Betty Ruth Barnes (Maddox); and his wife Betty Sue. He is survived by: his daughter Tonya Phillips (Brad) of Hiram, GA; his stepdaughter Debbie Kendrick (Andy) of Bella Vista, AR; and his grandchildren, Andrew Kendrick and Jennifer Ellis (Jeremy).
