He is survived by : his wife Catherine Meador of Acworth; his sons, Barry Meador (Vanessa) of Cedartown and Eric Meador (Jennifer) of Acworth; his grandchildren, Kimberly Meador (Kyle Hurst), Kelli Fields (Wesley), Bradley Meador, Hannah Grady (Zach), Graci Raines, Tyler Raines (Ashley), Jamie Meador and MaKayle Meador; and his siblings, Pat Hamby of Ellijay, Faye Daniel of Hartwell and Dilliard Meador (Martha) of Acworth. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (4947 N Main St, Acworth, GA 30101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (3885 Lee St, Acworth, GA 30101). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (3885 Lee St, Acworth, GA 30101).
