He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Jimmy Shearer. He is survived by: his parents, Ronald E. Vaughn and Charlotte M. Vaughn of Douglasville, GA.; his sister Susan Shearer of Winston; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Shearer, Kristen Shearer, Dillon Shearer, Justin Shearer, Adeline Shearer and Dawson Shearer.
