She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly B. Keesling and Dorothy Keesling; and her son Robert Kelly Carrier. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Kay Carrier Hughes; her grandsons, Matthew Kelly Carrier (Melissa), Brandon Kenneth Carrier (Jill) and Kyle Aaron Carrier (Tara); her great grandchildren, Parks Carrier and Nora Kate Carrier; her husband John Robert Carrier of Bristol, Tennessee.; and her sisters, Nancy K. Brickey of Acworth, Georgia and Kitty McBride of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery -Canton Ga (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund of Kennesaw First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1538, Kennesaw, GA 30156-8538, or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758571, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
