He is survived by: his children, Misty Brookshire, Kim Goodwin (Eddie) and Mike Thaggard (Christy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Amber, Haley, Katie (Jacob), Alexa, Sydney, Sawyer, Justin (Taylor) and Jamie; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Emberlyn, Gunner, Lewis Cole and Colter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
