It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tony D. Calhoun of Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Will Calhoun and Vesta Mae Medders Calhoun; his sister Wanda Calhoun Sizemore; and his brother-in-law Herbert Sizemore. He is survived by: his wife Jean Lathem Calhoun; his children, William Garrett Calhoun and Lauren Elizabeth Calhoun; his daughter-in-law Rachel Calhoun; and his grandchildren, Emma Lee Calhoun, William Cooper Calhoun and Davis Garrett Calhoun.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Floral tributes are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Tony's honor.
