It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Faye Butler (Acworth, Georgia), born in Starks, Louisiana, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Wanda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wanda. Though Wanda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Alvin Butler. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Huprich, Shawn Butler and Scott Butler; and her grandchildren, Rachel Shepard Aiello, Brittany Sonnier, Jordan Webb and Amber Butler. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Georgia Funeral Care (4671 S Main St, Acworth, GA 30101). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026.
