He is survived by: his wife Shirley Palmer; his children, Tabitha Poole (Billy), Tonya Farist (Danny) and Lance Palmer (Shelly); his grandchildren, Jessica Wise (Teddy), Kaylie Arnsdorff (Alec), Ashley Zachmeyer (Jeffrey), Kimberly Farist (Ben Lash) and Logan Palmer (Amy); his great grandchildren, Adalee Zachmeyer, Jayden Wise, Carter Arnsdorff, Chandler Arnsdorff, Lawson Palmer, Landon Wise and Lainey Palmer; and his brother Dennis Palmer (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home (3551 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
He loved charity car shows and was a long time supporter of local sports teams involving his nephews, grandson, and great-grandson.
