With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Leon Winters of Adairsville, Georgia, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David Leon had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David Leon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Summerize and Clara Bell Moore Winters. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Carson Winters; his children, Jermaine "Neon" Winters, Davey Winters, Stephanie Winters, Palarreus Richards and Tiffany Richards; and his siblings, Robert Morris, Jan Bryant, Elene Johnson and Anaclair. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers-in-laws and 2 sisters-in-law; and host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (128 Martin Luther King Dr, Adairsville, GA 30103).
