We announce the death of Gary Michael Cochran of Adairsville, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cochran and Jean Moss Cochran Kendall; and his siblings, Teddy Richard Cochran, David Cochran and Gayla Annette Self.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Frye (Cookie), Shawn Frye, Aaron Cochran, Jennifer Townsend (Wesley) and Caleb Cochran; his brother Douglas Lamar Cochran (Kay); his grandchildren, Brianna Frye, Ashlon Stavrow (Daniel), Aubrey Olsen, Zach Costlow (Samantha), Austin Cochran, Maggie Moerman, Roman Townsend and Ebin Townsend; his great grandchild Joseph Wesley Stavrow; and his nieces and nephews, Jarrod Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Keith Cochran, Derrick Cochran, Michael Todd Holden, Lori Mechelle Blalock, Katrina Evette Cronin and Angelia Renae Stone.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
