He was predeceased by: his father Leon Ray; and his siblings, Larry Hyde, Lamar Hyde, Brenda Johnson and Sherry Renee Ellis.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Hyde Roberts; his wife Tammy Ray; his daughters, Jennifer Vanhart, Jessica Branch and Brittany Branch; his grandchildren, Brayden Bruce, C. J. Vanhart, Addison Vanhart, Brooklyn Bruce, Reagan Branch, A. J. Broom and Payten Branch; his siblings, Teresa Barber, Lillie Parker and Scotty Ray; and his nephew Bo Hyde. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
