He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dr. Charlie, Julaine Smith, Willard and Glenda Earwood; and his uncle Steve Earwood.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Crawford Smith; his sons, Kaleb Smith and Kamden Smith; his parents, Michael Smith and Judy Smith; his sister Nikki Atkins (Griff); his parents-in-law, Donald and Darlene Crawford; his sister-in-law Erin Davenport (Steve); and his sibling's children, Bailey Atkins, Grant Davenport, Emma Klaire Atkins, Anna Kate Atkins and Shelby Rae Davenport.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). The lying in state was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rockmart Presbyterian Church (306 S Marble St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
