He was predeceased by : his father William Franklin "Frank" Wood, Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Mildred Tucker Wood of Adel; his sons, Patrick Wood of Asheville and Will (Chasity Wood); his granddaughters, Presleigh Wood and Sara Wood of Adel; his brother Tommy; his sister-in-law Lisa Wood of Tifton, Georgia; his sister Angela Wood Johnston; his brother-in-law Fred Boudreaux of Charlotte; his nephew Tucker Wood of Jacksonville, Florida; and his niece Leah Wood of Atlanta, Georgia..

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home, Inc. (South) (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home South (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 4:45 PM at the Sparks City Cemetery (150 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Adel, GA 31647).
