He is survived by: his wife Allie Jean Horne Betts; his son Tony; his daughter-in-law Melissa Betts; his daughter Denise; his children-in-law, Tony Fletcher and Leigh Betts; and his grandchildren, Kimberly of Adel, Andy Smith of Adel, Nicole of Adel, Craig Griner of Adel, Whitney of Adel, Jacob McDowell of Adel, Palmer of Adel, Amber Betts of Adel, Hunter, Taylor Betts of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Pate of Valdosta, Georgia, Caroline Betts of Valdosta, Georgia and Emilee Betts (Jonathan Struck) of Valdosta, Georgia. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery (2829 Evergreen Church Rd, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Baptist Church (2829 Evergreen Church Rd, Adel, GA 31620). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Rountree Cemetery (2829 Evergreen Church Rd, Adel, GA 31620).
