He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Shaw Bennett of Adel; his children, Derry Bennett (Donna) of Adel and Ann Little (Mark) of Adel; his grandchildren, Lindsay Newton (Guy), Kane Little (Jessi), Emily Bennett, Tanner Bennett (Kali), Karly Carroll (Kaid), Gavin Hall and Bailey Shaw (Josh); his great grandchildren, Kendall Newton, Grayson Newton, Hayden Little, Wyatt Little, Bryson Little, Cayson Moore, Reid Moore, Charlotte Bennett, Victoria Carroll, Andy Gutierrez and Adalynn Shaw; and his sister Patty Shaw.
