He was predeceased by : his father Earnest L. Franks; his grandparents, Clayton, Jessie Blount, Bert and Cora Franks; and his brother J. E. Franks.
He is survived by : his wife Deborah Daughtrey Franks of Dothan, AL; his sons, Kenneth Franks (Mary) of Allendale Michigan and Brad Franks of Coral Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Ryan Franks, Andrew Franks, Emily Franks and Brooke Franks; and his sister Barbara Franks Smith of Adel.
