She was predeceased by: her father Mack Summerlin; her grandchildren, Birkley Raine Powell and Briggs Millard Powell; and her brother-in-law Don McGee. She is survived by: her mother Betty Jo Royals Summerlin of Nashville; her husband Stephen Powell of Adel; her sons, Dustin Powell (LeeAnna) of Nashville, Tyler Powell of Valdosta and Stephen Powell (Leila) of Adel; her siblings, Shelia McGee of Nashville, Joyce Strom (Wally) of Nashville, Cheryl Stone (Keith) of Nashville and Neal Summerlin (Melanie) of Willacoochee; her mother-in-law Mary Powell of Nashville; and her sister-in-law Paige Martins of Albany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
