He was predeceased by : his father Lester Harris; and his brother Robin Harris. He is survived by : his fiancée Sherry Tyler of Nashville; his daughters, Erica (Anthony) of North Carolina and Erin Lancaster (Nate) of North Carolina; his mother Jackie Webb Harris of Adel; and his siblings, Randy Harris (Chris) of Adel, Ray Harris of Nashville, Brandy Vickers (Jody) and Jessica Harris of Fl. He is also survived by five granddaughters.
