He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Lovett Griffin and Rubye Ivey Griffin; and his grandson Robert Christopher Drummond. He is survived by: his wife Frances McClung Griffin of Adel; and his children, Alan Griffin of Adel, Erin (Bill Seanor) and Gina (Randy VanMetre). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
